Ext’inT is a beautiful combination of the quiet expression of inner feelings and powerful emotional outbursts, created to touch the inner most part of the soul.

An elegant and deeply sensual voice punctuates poetic lyrics drawn from the most emotional life experiences; hope and despair, resentment and nostalgia, sex, desire and not least, love. A distinctly French touch adds a hint of ingenuity to the blend.

Musical sounds were formed by objects of daily life, the human body, and amplified by electronic beats resulting in a deeply touching atmospheric texture. This diversity of sounds guides you through a poignant personal journey of discovery.

Maxime Duquesne, young performance artist and sculptor, is the talented singer, songwriter and composer behind the Ext’inT name. He lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.

Behind the production of DAVIS& MAY are 2 talented guys wich came together in 2003 and are today working in every free minute of their day as devotionful musicians. Sebastian played the guitar since he was 8 years. He fell in love with electronic music in 1999. After first Dj experiences in 2001 he began to produce with a lot of low quality programs.Since he met Lars they..ve been workin with Logic and got a lot more producing skills. Lars made is own first Dj experiences in 1997. After that he had a lot of gigs over a few years, but other tasks stopped him for a little while. He also worked in a vinyl shop and was always influenced by the latest sounds.. By a fluke ..Lars and Sebastian became friends. Since that day they share their passion for electronic music. With their own labels Maripoza and digitaly *Back Home they will push out some new, future sounding experimental stuff, big dancetunes of themselves and also new talented artists wich have an eye for what will coming up. The first release on Maripoza jumped on a Gigolo Compilation and also their last one is sined for an new Mix CD. Feel invited to keep in touch with these two guys, for more interesting and forward thinking music wich is made to love it...

David's active passion for music started with a guitar, which resulted in years of playing in an all-embracing band. During the nineties however his passion for electronic music emerged. Ready for something new and feeling the urge to remain creative with music it soon inspired him to play DJ sets at different occasions. During the last eight years David shifted from a purely psytrance sound passing through a more progressive eclectic sound into a more minimal atmospheric style. Exploring new areas within the electronic scene soon became a necessity for him. When David plays he likes to create new experiences with the audience. During his set he gradually progresses the music to connect it with the present atmosphere. He is a master in combining the music with visual impressions to reach this goal. But in the end it all comes down to the same thing... he wants to have a great time while playing those gorgious electronic sounds. Different memorable occasions bear proof of his dedication and skills as a DJ, his own "tipi" parties, "All funghed up", "weekend starts here" events, and a recent amazing set at the Piknik Elektronik during the Iris festival in Brussels.

Chantal and Florence are first of all two friends but also real partyharders, enjoying life as much as they can. They met each other more than 10 years ago. Chantal was working at Extreme, which was then one of the most legendary clubs in Belgium and Florence was working (and still does) for Out Soon which still is Belgium's leading dance music magazine. Don't need to tell you that electronic music is a real passion for both of themÖ They love the entire scene, with all of its styles and substylesÖ Don't expect something closed and open your mind: they will play whatever they like, tracks that talk to their hearts and they are having fun doing it!

WHO IS IT?

Dj, producer and label owner, Undo is a man of many faces. Lots of activities
for a musician who followed a steady career before appearing like a revelation
in the early 2k's Barcelona scene.
Gabriel Berlanga has been composer, vocalist, guitarist and bassist in poprock
bands since the school days. By the mid-90's, he turned his attention
also into the emerging world of electronic dance music. Gabriel started to
collect records, dj and to experiment with electronic sounds and structures:
playing old synths, loop-samplers and guitar fx. In 2002 he got his own
computer and discovered the possibilities of bedroom producing and digital
audio. He started to write and produce as Undo surfacing on the wake of
the early 2000 electro-boom with a dancefloor bomb called "Mirrorball".
The demise of Minifunk (label where he was originally signed to) and a
providential meeting with Vicknoise led to the creation of Factor City and,
from then on, things snowballed: resident and artistic director at The Loft/Lolita
Clubs in Barcelona, engagements all over the euro geography, a record
label in full swing and a string of well received 12's (either solo, with Vicknoise
or with MouseUp as Spare Time) and remixes for artists such as Ellen Allien,
Akufen, Telex or Trisomie 21.
Busy years that passed by really fast but cimented a solid reputation and
a profile that only keeps on growing.
2006 sees him going even stronger with the release of his debut album
"Despacio", a very personal affair showcasing his interests and influences;
halfway between the living room and the dancefloor lies a collection of
songs which take inspiration from both modern techno and the indie pop
of his school days.
A record which is nothing but a further proof of his unique approach to music
making and a desire to tear down barriers.
Just undo it!

Pour sa 10ème édition, Les Soirées Secrètes vous offrent Undo en invité d'honneur :
DJ, producteur, propriétaire du label Factor City Records (D.A.R.Y.L, Vicknoise, Lantano, MouseUp, Holger Zilske aka Smash TV,...), résident et directeur artistique du Loft / Lolita Club à Barcelone. Cet homme aux multiples facettes a déjà fait plus que ses preuves à travers le monde avec sa musique électromélodique douce et puissante dont lui seul a le secret. Il a remixé des artistes tels que Radiohead, Ellen Alien, Akufen, Glimpse... Un album à son actif (Despacio) et une ribanbelle de Maxis plus beaux les uns que les autres dont aucun titre n'est à jetter, tout au contraire!
